Joieful Connections is a Community Living Support agency that specializes in providing supportive care to intellectually/developmentally disabled individuals. We are actively recruiting qualified Direct Support Professionals recruiting in Washington, Clackamas, Deschutes, Polk, Lane, Linn, Benton, Marion, Multnomah, Columbia, Lincoln, and Yamhill Counties.
Seeking to fill multiple opportunities with experienced, reliable, kind, fun, Direct Support Professionals, starting pay at $23.00-$26.00 per hour. (pay depending on experience, location, and needs of the individual being supported)

Position expectations vary based upon the individual client’s needs, as outlined in the Individual Support Plan (ISP). Individual Support Plan may include but is not limited to the following:
o Delivery of personal care in accordance with the individual’s ISP
o Support in Developing Skills (Independent, Social, Communication, Safety, Financial, Emotional regulation, etc)
o Activities of Daily Living (ADL) Support
o Assistance with transportation, shopping, banking, and escorts to medical appointments
o General housekeeping and meal preparations
o Observing, assessing, and documenting changes in the client’s behaviors and activities daily
Direct Support Professional Qualifications: A DSP that’s delivering services to an individual must meet the following criteria:
● Be a minimum of 18 years of age
● Personal Support: 1 year (Required)
● High school or equivalent (Required)
● Be legally eligible to work in the United States.
● English, Reading, Writing, and Spoken (Required)
● Be able to pass a background check
● Honors confidentiality of each client and their family.
● Experience comprehending and implementing care plans.
● Effective communication with families, medical providers, and other support personnel.
● Able to make calm decisions and provide support in emergency situations.
● Be certified in CPR and First Aid by a recognized training agency within 90 calendar days of employment.
● If transporting individuals, have a valid driver's license and vehicle insurance in compliance with the laws of the Department of Motor Vehicles.
