In addition to thorough reference checks, we conduct extensive background screenings to ensure that the DSPs we send to you meet or exceed the unique needs of each individual and family.  At Joieful Connections, we understand that the right match is essential for providing the best care. Our pairing process is designed to ensure a perfect fit by considering factors like proximity to your home, availability, experience that matches your needs and goals, and shared interests or specialized skills. Once a DSP meets all four deciding factors, we arrange an in-person introduction so you can meet and decide if the DSP is the right fit for your family. This thoughtful approach helps us make lasting connections and pairings, which leads to stronger relationships and lower turnover. 

 At Joieful Connections, we’ve designed a streamlined onboarding process to get your DSP up and running as quickly as possible. Our electronic onboarding system allows DSPs to move through the process at their own pace, typically completing it within 5-7 business days. Throughout this process, we offer dedicated support to assist with any issues, ensuring everything goes smoothly. Additionally, all onboarding and training materials are available in both English and Spanish, making it accessible to a wide range of applicants.

Held throughout the areas we serve, these events are free for the individuals receiving support through Joieful and their DSP. Whether it’s a fun outing, an exciting activity, or a social gathering, these events give both individuals and DSPs the chance to connect, bond, and enjoy new experiences together in a welcoming environment. 

 At Joieful Connections, we offer Monthly Activity Kits designed to inspire creativity and provide new ways for DSPs and individuals to connect and engage. Each month, families and individuals we support can choose from a variety of fun, hands-on activity kits that are sent directly to your home. These kits are meant to spark new ideas, encourage creativity, and provide an enjoyable way to spend time together, all while bringing Joie (joy) into your home. It’s just another way we support meaningful moments and positive connections! 

 At Joieful Connections, we believe in the importance of staying active and engaged in the community. That’s why we cover the cost of one outside activity for individuals we support each year. Whether it’s a gym membership, dance classes, swim lessons, or another activity of your choice, Joieful will help pay for it. Our goal is to help you stay active, healthy, and involved in activities that bring joy and promote well-being!
